## A Transformation in Competitive Mobile Gaming

Jonathan Swerdlow, Chief Executive Officer of GamyTech, guides us through the rapid ascent of this real-currency competitive gaming hub.

**Can you elaborate on what GamyTech is?**

GamyTech centers around injecting an additional dose of thrill into mobile gaming. Picture engaging in timeless games like Checkers or 2048, but with actual money at stake – that encapsulates GamyTech! It’s a space where users can go head-to-head in both familiar and innovative games, wagering and escalating the challenges. GamyTech possesses the capability to not only craft its own games but also smoothly incorporate pre-existing ones into its framework, delivering a varied and captivating experience for participants.

**Share with us your personal path in the i-gaming realm – what ignited the genesis of GamyTech?**

My trajectory commenced in the vibrant metropolis of New York, where I spearheaded my own gaming venture. Subsequently, I relocated to Israel and had my initial encounter with the i-gaming sector. The level of proficiency in generating revenue from gaming experiences astonished me. As an early adopter of PokerStars, I frequented online poker rooms and was captivated by how real-life poker strategies transferred to the digital sphere. I recognized a chance to replicate that same exhilarating ambiance within the casual gaming domain. Being an avid gamer and online poker devotee myself, I grasped how to merge these two universes, and thus, GamyTech was conceived.

**What strategies do you employ to promote GamyTech and its offerings?**

Weve invested heavily in social media promotion, forged collaborations, and disseminated information through various advertising platforms. Furthermore, we’ve prioritized making our application prominent within the App Store. Searching for ‘backgammon’ reveals our app consistently achieving high rankings across numerous nations – frequently securing the top position or at least a spot within the top five.

And users are reacting positively! Our user base expands by over 100% monthly. Operational for approximately seven months, we’ve already surpassed half a million downloads. Even more thrilling is the millions of games being played on the platform. Direct user feedback has been excellent, and they actively engage with us on social media – demonstrating genuine interest in our creations. A genuine community is forming around our games, particularly backgammon. Players return daily, fostering connections through social media and even authoring blog posts about their matches. The potential is vast. Some players even generate income through our platform, approaching it as a full-time profession, while others supplement their earnings with a respectable monthly side income.

And it’s not solely about traditional games like backgammon – we also provide well-known favorites such as Snake and 2048.

Is this feeling of recognition paramount for drawing in fresh participants?

During our initial idea generation phase, our goal was to onboard a large audience – to enlighten them about traditional and casual games suitable for wagering – and we found it more efficient to achieve this with games that people were already acquainted with. Therefore, we opted to initiate our platform with timeless classics like backgammon or widely recognized games like 2048. Now that our player base has placed their confidence in us and navigates the platform with ease, we are commencing the process of innovation on the game development front and crafting novel game genres.

What does the future hold for GamyTech?

We have a game resembling Candy Crush and Bejeweled currently under development, slated for imminent release, and a card game is also on the horizon, with even more in the works. Our intention is to delve into more specialized games. Furthermore, within the next six months, we aspire to introduce multiplayer competitions boasting substantial prize pools upon their conclusion, akin to what one might encounter on platforms like PokerStars and Party Poker.

What obstacles arise when venturing into the online gaming sector?

In my view, establishing any business invariably presents challenges – irrespective of the specific industry. I perceive the online gaming industry as particularly captivating in terms of product marketing and design; it exhibits a remarkable level of sophistication in comparison to other industries. My assessment is that the online gaming marketing landscape is intensely competitive, with all the brands exhibiting a high degree of activity within the market and possessing a keen understanding of their strategies.”

Engaging customers consistently presents difficulties, particularly for emerging companies vying with established enterprises boasting a decade or two of market presence. A significant obstacle involves identifying methods to connect with customers through innovative marketing approaches.

Ought digital entertainment gravitate towards proficiency-based amusements?

Although chance-based amusements will perpetually retain their niche, I contend that the sector shouldn’t entirely transition towards skill-driven games. Nevertheless, universal adoption of the mobile realm is crucial. Social and collaborative aspects are steadily gaining prominence. Even within sports wagering, the capacity to engage with companions and fellow participants is desirable. Digital entertainment has predominantly concentrated on solitary player experiences, yet we currently inhabit a mobile-centric era characterized by extensive interpersonal interactions. Online gaming must acclimate to this reality and seamlessly integrate within it.

Is your company actively seeking new financial backers?

Presently, we are amidst a $5 million financing round and have garnered substantial attention from prominent operators and vendors within the sector, alongside several venture capital firms situated in Israel. We anticipate finalizing the round between September and December, enabling us to expand operations and engage a broader customer base with supplementary games and marketing endeavors. I am enthusiastic to be among the originators of this venture and firmly believe that GamyTech is poised to emerge as a dominant force within the digital entertainment industry. Anticipate hearing significantly more from us in the times ahead!
