## Alejandro Mosquera Rey Tapped to Spearhead EGT’s Spanish Division
EGT, a prominent name in gaming technology, has selected Alejandro Mosquera Rey as the new leader for its operations in Spain. Mosquera, a seasoned professional with more than 15 years of expertise directing teams and overseeing projects across diverse fields such as consulting, IT, legal services, and naturally, gaming and entertainment, will be succeeding Christian Kostovski.
Enthusiastic about this new opportunity, Mosquera remarked, “Becoming a part of a powerhouse like EGT and joining their international team is a true privilege. I am certain in my capacity to meet the expectations set before me and eager to transform my vision for EGT’s future within Spain into a concrete reality.”
Mosquera, a computer engineer by training, cultivated his abilities over a decade at Codere, where he ascended the corporate ladder to become Product Manager and CIO. His objective at EGT? To further enhance the company’s already remarkable product lineup and cement their standing as a leading force within the Spanish gaming market.
Nadia Popova, EGT’s VP of Sales and Marketing, conveyed her faith in Mosquera, stating, “We are delighted to have Alejandro Mosquera at the helm of our Spanish team. His guidance, we are confident, will be crucial in realizing the full potential of our varied product offerings and making us an even more formidable competitor in the local gaming landscape.”
This appointment follows closely on the heels of other recent developments within the industry, including the appointment of Nicholas Zeidler as Partner and Investor by operator Sport Buff just last week.
Esports organization BetBoom has named Jörk Schiewe as its new Chief Operating Officer. Schiewe possesses an extensive and notable work history, having held management roles for two decades, including a period at Google and a stint as Appino’s Vice President.
