BetMGM is collaborating with Revolutionary Racing Kentucky to introduce sports wagering to the state. As the Kentucky sports betting market prepares to commence, BetMGM is poised to provide both digital and physical sports betting options.

This alliance will see BetMGM establish a retail sportsbook within Sandy’s Racing & Gaming. This 5,200 square foot venue will be a central element of the $75 million Sandy’s development. Although the complete facility is not anticipated to debut until the following year, the BetMGM sportsbook should be operational by this autumn, coinciding with the September 7th initiation of in-person sports betting in Kentucky.

Internet-based sports betting in Kentucky will shortly follow retail betting, with an anticipated launch date of September 28th.

Beyond the sportsbook, the 182-acre Sandy’s Racing & Gaming property will also house Kentucky’s inaugural equestrian and racetrack, projected to open its doors to the public in 2025.

Revolutionary Racing is not the sole organization joining forces with a prominent operator in anticipation of Kentucky’s sports betting introduction. Caesars Sportsbook has established agreements with both Keeneland and Red Mile.
