Evolution Concludes Internal Examination of Unlawful Actions
The company conducted an internal examination to address accusations made in November of the previous year.

The accusations, which originated from an anonymous third party, were intended to harm the company’s standing and resulted in a multi-billion dollar decrease in the supplier’s market value.

When initiating the examination, Evolution stated that it was “collaborating closely with regulators and operators to provide support and tools to prevent players from specific countries, including those on the US sanctions list.”

Following the publication of Evolution’s first-quarter financial results, CEO Martin Carlesund stated that the examination is now finished. While some modifications will be made to processes, Carlesund added that this will not have a “substantial impact” on earnings.

“Naturally, we internally evaluate everything and are prepared to provide any requested materials, and naturally, we discovered numerous areas where we can improve, as we do every day in all areas,” he said. “Therefore, we are satisfied with the outcome and are moving forward from there.”

Our company has a robust connection with regulatory bodies across the world.”

Evolution’s live gaming enterprise continued to expand at a rapid pace in the first quarter financial report. Their random number generator (RNG) gaming operations, which were established through the acquisitions of NetEnt and Big Time Gaming, expanded at a slower rate.

When asked if Evolution was considering additional mergers, Carlesund stated it wasn’t a top priority, but it couldn’t be entirely disregarded.

“We will certainly assess and seek out merger and acquisition opportunities, but the primary growth is originating from within,” Carlesund stated. “Our viewpoint on this matter has not changed.

“We are diligently working and our ambition is to be the leading online casino globally. We are constantly seeking opportunities that can propel us forward or contribute to the realization of this objective.”
