Top players in the gaming sector have voiced their support for the 2022 ICE London event, deeming it crucial.
The event has received strong backing from European Casino Association (ECA) board members and officials, who have also revealed that many high-level executives and decision-makers will be in attendance at ICE London.

Laurent Lassiaz, head of JOA Group, spoke about how ICE London brings together different aspects of the industry, with a focus on technology.

“ICE has always provided us with the opportunity to expand our knowledge and find the best solutions to address short-term and long-term challenges,” Lassiaz said. “ICE is a melting pot of ‘hardware’ and ‘software’ solutions, whether it be new technologies, new equipment, undisclosed data, or insights from thought leaders.

“While the event may have a reduced presence in terms of hardware, I look forward to stimulating ‘software’ exchanges and finding new inspiration.”

Tiina Siltanen, Managing Director of Helsinki Casino and Tampere Casino, acknowledged the networking opportunities at ICE London, adding that this year’s event will be different due to the impact of COVID-19.

Siltanen expressed his enthusiasm for attending ICE, a gathering where he anticipates connecting with individuals who share his passions, industry veterans, and the pinnacle of gaming talent. He eagerly anticipates engaging in discussions, exchanging ideas with diverse perspectives, and welcoming newcomers to the field.

This year’s ICE promises a unique experience compared to previous editions, yet Siltanen emphasizes its significance as an unmissable event. As the world emerges from the pandemic, he underscores the need to establish a more robust and thriving gaming industry for the future.

Clarion Gaming’s Managing Director, Stuart Hunter, acknowledged the pandemic’s impact on ICE London, but emphasized its continued role as a hub for pivotal events and exhibitions.

Despite the altered exhibition format from 2020, ICE London 2022 remains the most prominent and influential gathering in the global gaming industry, boasting over 450 exhibitors. Hunter highlighted a diverse range of activities and features, including Pitch ICE, the International Gaming Conference, the World Regulatory Briefing, the ICE VOX conference program, the Consumer Protection Zone, a newly introduced hosted conference program, and a comprehensive showcase and analysis of the esports phenomenon, all contributing to the overall ICE London experience.

Its been a while since the sector has gathered in person, and we’re thrilled to bring everyone together to commemorate the return of global commerce in a secure setting.

The event organizer, Clarion Gaming, declared earlier this month that ICE London will take place at ExCeL London from April 12 to 14. The event was initially planned for February but was delayed due to the emergence of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus.
