{"id":249,"date":"2024-06-27T21:27:12","date_gmt":"2024-06-27T18:27:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegas2web.icu\/2024\/06\/27\/atari-appoints-sally-danby-as-cfo\/"},"modified":"2024-06-27T21:27:12","modified_gmt":"2024-06-27T18:27:12","slug":"atari-appoints-sally-danby-as-cfo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vegas2web.icu\/2024\/06\/27\/atari-appoints-sally-danby-as-cfo\/","title":{"rendered":"Atari Appoints Sally Danby as CFO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\"\n    src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/h_ga7hcHwpM\"\n    frameborder=\"0\"\n    allow=\"accelerometer; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\"\n    allowfullscreen><br \/>\n<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Atari Interactive has named Sally Danby as its top financial executive.<\/p>\n<p>The company declared Danby will assume the position, following her temporary stint as interim CFO since April.<\/p>\n<p>Danby takes over from Julie Cameron-Doi, who departed Atari to accept a new role at Wynn Resorts.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron-Doi was appointed chief financial officer in December, succeeding Craig Billings, who was designated as CEO at that time.<\/p>\n<p>Before her interim CFO role, Danby served as the Group Financial Controller at Atari for a period of four years.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to that, she held the position of the company&#8217;s Manager of Planning and Reporting.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining Atari in February 2015, Danby was the Finance Director at Mi9.<\/p>\n<p>She also served as CFO and Head of Financial Integration at GE Capital Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p>Danby has held positions at GE Commercial Finance, GE Equipment Services Europe, Danka Office Imaging, and The Saint Group.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sally has been an exceptional business leader and a reliable financial partner throughout her time at Atari,&#8221; stated Trevor Croker, CEO and Managing Director of Atari. <\/p>\n<p>Sallys credentials have been further strengthened by her cultural impact, deep engagement in our operations, and comprehension of our responsibilities as an ASX-listed firm.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, during her tenure as Deputy CFO, Sally collaborated closely with me and our leadership team to facilitate the execution of our growth strategy and ensure a seamless transition subsequent to the departure of our former CFO in April.<\/p>\n<p>After a thorough global search, we have pinpointed Sally as the ideal candidate for this position, especially during this exciting phase in Aristocrat&#8217;s growth trajectory. I commend Sally on her appointment and anticipate her continued contributions to Aristocrat.<\/p>\n<p>This appointment follows Aristocrat&#8217;s declaration last month that it would be rebranding its real-money gaming division as Anaxi.<\/p>\n<p>Anaxi debuted in February of this year as the third business unit of the Aristocrat Group, alongside Aristocrat Gaming and Pixel United, its mobile-first publishing enterprise.
